About Kelli
Growing up in rural Pennsylvania gave me an appreciation for the beauty of nature and I began photographing landscapes and sunsets. I also knew that I wanted to travel and see the world. I viewed photography as the career that I could take anywhere. Chicago is where I landed and I love it here.
Now I see the beauty in more than just sunrises and landscapes. I see the beauty in my children, my dog, my friends, and my community. From these things, I am inspired to make my art.
I love museums, cooking, London, and horses. My kids make me laugh and remind me to be humble. I create art for and with them and we share our creative spirits (even when, to their dismay, I cover them in moss).
These days my art is also very much inspired by my dog, Tess! She is funny and loving and she sparks my love of photographing animals.
I am a Master Photographer through Professional Photographers of America and have won numerous photographic awards. I teach, I learn, and I create.
