This course is designed for photographers ready to take full control of their camera and move beyond automatic modes. You’ll learn how to master your DSLR or mirrorless camera by understanding and using manual settings to achieve consistent, professional results.
Topics include the exposure triangle—aperture, shutter speed, and ISO—how they work together, controlling depth of field and motion, and adjusting settings for different lighting conditions. You’ll also explore metering, focusing techniques, and strategies for balancing ambient and artificial light.
Through hands-on exercises and real-world shooting scenarios, you’ll gain confidence in making creative choices on the fly. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to shoot entirely in manual mode, giving you complete control over exposure, focus, and artistic expression with your DSLR or mirrorless camera.
