Silver Castle Studio Photography & Education is based in The Villages, Florida, serving residents, businesses, and creatives throughout the surrounding area. We are also available to travel for portrait sessions, photography assignments, and educational workshops.

We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, checks, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and PayPal, to make payment convenient and flexible for our clients.

For general portrait sessions, a $200 nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your selected collection. Fine-art animal portrait sessions have separate booking fees and arrangements.

Travel within 20 miles of The Villages is included. Additional travel fees may apply for locations beyond this area.

We understand that plans sometimes change. Booking retainers are nonrefundable in accordance with your photography agreement.

One complimentary rescheduling opportunity is available with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. The rescheduled session must take place within six months of the original appointment.

Requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may require a new retainer to reserve another date.

If inclement weather prevents an outdoor session, we'll work together to arrange an alternative date at no additional charge.

I recommend scheduling your portrait session at least 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability, particularly during holidays and other busy seasons. However, shorter-notice appointments may be available. Please contact me to discuss your preferred date.

Portrait collections include a session of up to 60 minutes, allowing ample time for thoughtful posing, lighting adjustments, and a variety of images. Additional session time may be arranged for larger groups or special requests at an additional fee.

Each collection includes your portrait session, professional retouching, and a selection of high-resolution digital images with personal printing rights. Select collections also include professionally mounted photographic prints.

Collections range from $495 to $1,495, allowing you to choose the number of images and finished products that best suit your needs.

Additional photographic artwork, including custom-framed wall art, albums, and professionally finished prints, is available.

Absolutely! Additional professionally retouched, high-resolution digital images are available to complement your collection.

If you fall in love with more images than your collection includes, you may upgrade to a higher collection before final image delivery. The full amount paid toward your original collection will be applied to your upgraded collection.

Of course! Portrait collections include up to five people. Larger families and groups are welcome, with additional fees to accommodate the extra time, posing, and coordination involved.

6–10 people — $125

11–15 people — $250

16–20 people — $375

21 or more people — Custom quote

Additional time or special arrangements may be recommended for larger groups to ensure everyone receives the attention they deserve.

Florida weather can be unpredictable, but it shouldn't compromise your portrait experience. If inclement weather prevents us from holding your outdoor session, we'll work together to select a new date at no additional charge.

Weather-related rescheduling does not count toward your one complimentary rescheduling opportunity. Your comfort, safety, and the quality of your finished portraits will always come first.

A $200 nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your general portrait session and is applied toward your selected collection.

The remaining balance of your collection is due on the day of your portrait session.

Any additional digital images, collection upgrades, or photographic artwork purchased afterward are billed separately.

Absolutely. Your pet does not need to be perfectly trained to create an extraordinary portrait. Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your pet’s personality, temperament, and comfort level, allowing the experience to unfold naturally and without pressure.

With patience, carefully chosen sounds, favorite treats, and well-practiced techniques, we’ll encourage natural expressions without expecting your pet to behave like a perfectly trained model. Often, the most beautiful portraits are found in the quiet, unscripted moments that reveal who they truly are.

I recommend a “coordinate, don’t match” approach. Choose a refined, cohesive color palette—soft neutrals, earthy tones, rich muted colors, or timeless classics—that complements both your pet and the setting.

Avoid busy patterns, prominent logos, or anything that may compete for attention in the finished portrait. Above all, choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I’m happy to provide personalized wardrobe guidance before your session to ensure every element works beautifully together.

Absolutely. Your pet’s safety always comes first. There is never a need to remove a leash simply for the sake of creating a portrait.

When appropriate, leashes can often be professionally removed during the retouching process, allowing the finished portrait to appear natural and distraction-free. Collars may also be removed when the image allows, with careful attention given to preserving the natural appearance of your pet’s coat.

Every finished portrait is individually refined so that the focus remains exactly where it belongs—on your companion and the extraordinary bond you share.

We offer a curated selection of photographic artwork, including giclée prints, canvas, metal, acrylic, and handcrafted albums. Custom framing is included with framed artwork selections.

Yes. We offer two distinctive album styles, allowing you to choose the presentation that best complements your portraits, personal style, and collection.

Each album is professionally crafted and custom-designed using your selected portraits. Both feature beautiful materials, archival-quality construction, and thoughtfully designed layouts created to tell the story of your companion.

During your Image Premiere, you’ll be able to see and feel samples of both album styles, explore the available cover materials and finishes, and select the one that feels right for you.

Once you select the images you love, we’ll create a custom album design that tells your story beautifully and cohesively.

You’ll have the opportunity to review the design and request adjustments before your album is sent to our professional bindery. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to create an album that feels as beautiful in your hands as the portraits it holds.

Absolutely. Your album can be personalized with a selection of colors, textures, and premium cover materials to complement your portraits and personal style.

Depending on the album selected, additional personalization options may include custom embossing or debossing, allowing you to add your pet’s name, a meaningful date, or another personal detail.

General Portrait Photography: Your finished images will be presented for selection according to your chosen collection, with options to purchase additional digital images and photographic artwork.

Fine-Art Animal Portraiture: Your Image Premiere takes place in person. During this appointment, we'll review your portraits together, select your favorites, and choose the artwork and products that best complement your home.

For fine-art animal portrait sessions, your Image Premiere will be scheduled within 21 days of your portrait session.

If your Image Premiere is not completed within 21 days, your gallery may be moved to archival storage. A $100 Gallery Reactivation Fee will apply to restore your gallery and schedule a new Image Premiere.

Your Image Premiere is a dedicated appointment reserved especially for you. At least 24 hours' notice is required if you need to reschedule.

Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will require a $75 rescheduling fee to reserve a new appointment.

All individuals involved in purchasing decisions should attend your Image Premiere. This allows everyone to participate in selecting portraits, artwork, sizes, and finishes.

Because your artwork is custom-created to your specifications, all sales are final once an order is placed.

All custom artwork orders must be paid in full at the time the order is placed.

Once payment is received, professional retouching and preparation of your finished artwork will begin. Production takes place following your final approval.

Absolutely. Standard professional retouching is included with your finished portraits. Extensive retouching, complex background changes, or additional artistic modifications may require an additional fee.

Before your artwork is sent to production, you will receive a watermarked proof for final approval.

You will have 7 business days to request adjustments, and your order includes two complimentary rounds of revisions. Additional revisions may be subject to a fee.

Production begins only after your final approval.

Finished artwork is typically completed within 3-8 weeks after final approval, depending on the product selected.

While every effort is made to meet estimated timelines, production and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Custom production requirements, supplier delays, shipping delays, and peak holiday seasons may affect turnaround times.

If you need your artwork by a specific date, expedited production may be available for an additional fee. Please inquire before placing your order so availability and pricing can be confirmed.

Finished artwork may be personally delivered, picked up at an agreed-upon location, or shipped when appropriate.

Shipping is available for an additional fee based on the size and weight of the artwork.

Your artwork is created using professional, archival-quality materials designed to be enjoyed for generations.

Display Environment: Avoid direct sunlight and areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms, to help prevent fading, warping, or other damage.

Custom Framing: Framed artwork is professionally finished using carefully selected, archival-quality materials. Avoid removing artwork from its professional framing or replacing the materials with non-archival alternatives.

Album Care: Handle albums with clean, dry hands and store them flat in a cool, dry, climate-controlled environment to protect the binding and pages.

Following your fine-art animal portrait Image Premiere, images not selected for purchase will remain available for 30 days.

After that time, they may be permanently removed from our active files and may not be recoverable.

Yes. If you would like us to retain your full gallery for one year, you may purchase a $150 Archival Extension.

If you place an additional product order during that year, $75 of the archival fee will be applied toward your purchase.

The Archival Extension must be requested and paid for within 14 days of your Image Premiere.

Silver Castle Studio Photography & Education retains the copyright to all photographs created. Usage rights vary depending on the photography service and the images purchased.

General Portrait Photography: High-resolution digital images included in your collection or purchased separately come with personal printing rights. You may print and share these images for personal, noncommercial use.

Fine-Art Animal Portraiture: A social media–sized digital file is included with each purchased portrait for personal online sharing. High-resolution printable digital files are not included or available for purchase.

Headshot Photography: Digital images are provided with the personal or professional usage rights specified in your selected package.

Real Estate Photography: Images are licensed for marketing the property photographed, subject to the terms of the photography agreement.

To preserve the artistic integrity of your portraits, images may not be altered using filters, AI editing, additional retouching, or other modifications without prior permission.

Applicable Florida sales tax will be added to taxable purchases as required by law.

Any applicable sales tax will be clearly reflected in your invoice or order total.
